Our approach

Kitra is designed to perform its practical functions on your device wherever possible. We do not require a Kitra account. We do not sell your personal information.

Device permissions and local processing

Depending on the tool you choose, Kitra may ask for access to your camera, microphone, location, nearby Bluetooth devices, photos or files, notifications, alarms and device sensors. These permissions are used to provide the feature you requested. You can deny or revoke them in Android settings, though the related feature may then be unavailable.

• Camera access supports the mirror, magnifier, scanners, document capture, object counting and compatible AR features.
• Microphone access supports sound measurement, tuning and related audio tools.
• Location and sensor access support the compass, coordinates and environmental readings.
• Nearby-device access supports Bluetooth detection.
• Photo and file access supports importing, cleaning, saving and sharing content you choose.

Information you choose to share

If you email us for support, we receive the information in your message, such as your email address, device details you provide and attachments you choose to send. We use it to answer your request and maintain reasonable support records.

Network and third-party services

Some functions may use Android, Google Play Services or other platform components—for example AR compatibility, document scanning, currency updates or opening external links. Those providers may process technical information under their own privacy policies. Kitra’s “last updated” labels indicate when online reference data was retrieved.

Website

This website is primarily informational and does not offer user accounts. Our hosting provider may process standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and request time, for security and reliable delivery.

Children

Kitra is a general-audience utility app and is not directed to children under the age required for independent consent in their country.

Security, retention and choices

We apply reasonable safeguards to information we hold. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for support, legal and security purposes. You may ask about, correct or request deletion of personal information you have sent us, subject to applicable law.
